Festa Fiesta

Nantucket’s Spanish and Portuguese-speaking residents gathered at the Whaling Museum this month for the Festa Fiesta, an evening of festive and informative activities organized by the Nantucket Historical Association and other non-profit organization and town entities. Partygoers enjoyed food from the Trading Post, played traditional Mexican bingo, listened to multilingual stories read by Nantucket Atheneum student literacy volunteers, and participated in a Latin dancing tutorial.
