Homecoming Weekend 2022

The weather certainly cooperated for this year’s Homecoming weekend on Nantucket. Our photographer, Bill Hoenk, was out and about capturing all the smiles and cheers.
Saturday’s on-island homecoming football game between Nantucket High School Whalers and the Falmouth High School Clippers left the Whalers still in search of their first win this season, with the final score 0-40 in favor of the unbeaten Clippers. But students and Whalers fans celebrated the annual observance with a festive parade of floats and a traditional homecoming dance.
