Memorial Day Parade and Observances 2023

Nantucket's annual Memorial Day parade stepped off Sunday afternoon from the American Legion on Washington Street, on a journey up Main Street to Prospect Hill Cemetery for a short observance. The Highland Pipe Band from Cape Cod led the memorial procession, trailed by island veterans, scouting groups, members of the Nantucket police and fire departments and Brant Point Coast Guard.
