Nantucket Oysterfest

Thousands of oysters were shucked and devoured Sunday during the 2024 Nantucket Oysterfest. The annual event, sponsored by the Nantucket Shellfish Association, was held over three hours at Cisco Brewers. Attendees sipped on cocktails and sampled oysters from the island’s oyster farms, while also learning about the local shellfishing industry and the role oyster farming plays in keeping Nantucket Harbor clean.
