Nantucket Race Week

Nantucket Race Week took over the harbor and waterfront last week with regattas, parties, and award ceremonies by co-sponsors Nantucket Yacht Club and Great Harbor Yacht Club. The five-day showcase of the island's sailing tradition, benefitting Nantucket Community Sailing, culminated Sunday with the annual rainbow fleet and wooden boat parade off Brant Point, followed by the 52nd annual Opera House Cup Regatta for wooden-hull boats. Sea Horse, skippered by Ron Zarrell, crossed the finish line first to win this year's cup.
