Native American Benefit Concert

PHOTOGRAPHY BY BILL HOENK

On Saturday, Musack and the Nantucket Island School of Design and the Arts held a collaborative benefit concert at NISDA's property in Wauwinet. The concert featured performances by dancers from Indigenous Enterprise, a Native American dance troupe led by Kenneth Shirley. The local kids' rock band Lowered Expectations, organized by Musack and the Nantucket Community Music Center, kicked off the event with an energetic set. After the show, Donick Cary, Musack founder, television writer, and producer, joined Shirley for a Q&A session.
