This year’s Swim Across America – the Nantucket open water swim, held Saturday at Jetties Beach, raised a record $825,000 to support local cancer services. Now in its 12th year, the event has raised over $5.5 million to benefit Nantucket Cottage Hospital, Palliative & Supportive Care of Nantucket, and cancer research at Mass General.
