Wampanoag Day

Families celebrated the history and culture of local Indigenous peoples during last week's Wampanoag Day at Children's Beach. The event by Nantucket Historical Association included traditional toy making, object examining, and mishoon riding with members of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, culminating in cultural song and dance performances.
