Nantucket Dreamland DreamBIG Fundaiser

Nantucket Dreamland held its annual DreamBIG fundraiser over the weekend to continue its mission of enriching the cultural and intellectual life of Nantucket by providing year-round films, educational programs, and a venue for community activities that engage the island in the evolving world of entertainment and education. This year’s DreamBIG event was bigger and bolder than ever before, as it was also a celebration of 10 years of the Nantucket Dreamland.

Guests dressed to the nines started off the night sipping on refreshing cocktails and munching on delicious hors d’oeuvres. Then, they filed into the Dreamland’s main theater to watch a series of live performers hit the stage.

After dinner, guests gathered on the beautiful terrace of the Harborview Room for a special outdoor silent disco. Upon entry, each attendee received a pair of wireless, noise-canceling headphones. With the flick of a switch, disco attendees could navigate through the stations on their headphones and know which stations others were listening to based on the headphone’s LED lights.
