Elin Hilderbrand’s Winter Street

It was "curtains up" last week at Bennett Hall as Theatre Workshop of Nantucket launched its limited run of a stage version of Elin Hilderbrand's Winter Street, an "unforgettable story" that follows the memorable Quinn family through "holiday magic along with a couple of weddings, some insider trading, deaths, births, pill-popping, ex-loves, new loves, old ex-loves," and more. Justine Cerne, producing artistic director for TWN, wrote the 90-minute stage adaptation of the novel, which is "a story of love, lots and lots of love… deep, passionate, kind, requited, unrequited…" The production continues through Sunday, December 8, with tickets available online.
