Family Scalloping Opening Day

Recreational scallopers took to the waters off Nantucket on Sunday, pushing their 10-foot-long rakes with floating baskets in tow, trying to harvest Nantucket’s delectable seafood item. Madaket Harbor proved once again to be a popular destination for families and friends on opening day, as captured here by photographer Bill Hoenk.
