Lifesavers Recognition Day

This year's Lifesavers Recognition Day, when the Egan Maritime Institute recognizes our everyday citizens and public safety officials for their lifesaving efforts, took place on Monday, September 11 at EMI's Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum on Polpis Road. Lifeguards, firefighters, policemen and women, and others were honored with Maurice E. Gibbs Commendation Award.
