Nantucket Oysterfest

The Nantucket Oysterfest took place on Sunday at Cisco Brewers, where seafood enthusiasts gathered for an afternoon of oyster shucking and chomping down on one of the finest delicacies the island has to offer. The annual event, held by the Nantucket Land Council and Nantucket Shellfish Association, is an opportunity for participants to learn about the local shellfishing industry and the role oyster farming plays in keeping Nantucket Harbor clean.
