NLWC Annual Dinner

PHOTOGRAPHY BY BILL HOENK

August marked the 50th anniversary of the Nantucket Land & Water Council, established in 1974 by concerned local residents in response to the island’s growing environmental challenges and loss of rural character. On Sunday, the council celebrated this milestone during its annual Labor Day weekend dinner, held at a waterfront home in Polpis. Guests enjoyed a menu featuring locally sourced seafood, vegetables, and other dishes that showcased the island’s culinary offerings.
