Awards for August Blues

Over the weekend, Miacomet Golf Club hosted the awards ceremony for the August Blues fishing tournament on Nantucket. The month-long bluefish tournament, held from August 1 to 31, raises funds for Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy, a nonprofit dedicated to ending Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a disorder that causes progressive muscle degeneration and weakness. Tournament founder Gregory Chotkowski attended the ceremony alongside his son, August, the tournament's namesake, who lives with DMD.
