The Artists Association of Nantucket held an opening reception Friday for its new exhibit,The Island Experience, at The Big Gallery on Straight Wharf. The exhibit highlights "the island and its unique splendor through the lens of AAN's local artist members," said AAN artistic director Robert Frazier, featuring "a range of fine-art media." It will be on display through Monday, September 28.
