Summer 2022 Rewind

With the island in its usual post-Labor Day lull, now feels like a good time to pause and reflect on what turned out to be another action-packed summer season. From fancy fundraisers and glitzy galas to absorbing art shows and powerful performances, the last several months were filled with all sorts of events and activities. The Nantucket Wine & Food Festival, The Stargazer Gala, the Nantucket Dance Festival, and the Boston Pops on Nantucket, all captured here by photographer Bill Hoenk, are some that immediately come to mind.

For these events, it also seems important to recognize the generous gifts of donors, the organization of event coordinators, the hard work of event staff—caterers, bartenders, servers, clean-up crews, and volunteer teams—and, of course, the attendance of visitors, locals, and guests. These events would not have been possible without their hard work.
